Conversations Across Social Disciplines (CASD) Keynote Speaker, Child Welfare Expert Mark Courtney
Time: 4:00pm
Location: School of Social Work's Educational Conference Center
Conversations Across Social Disciplines (CASD) will be holding its
2008-2009 keynote event on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 4:00 PM in the School of Social Work's Educational Conference Center.

We are thrilled that our CASD Keynote speaker this year will be child welfare expert Mark Courtney, a Professor of Social Work at the University of Washington and the Executive Director of Partners for Our Children (see his bio here:
http://www.partnersforourchildren.org/). Professor Courtney will be talking about adolescents aging out of the foster care system.
Discussants will be Professor Jacquelynne Eccles from the University of Michigan Department of Psychology and Frank Vandervort from the University of Michigan Law School. Dr. Andrew Grogan-Kaylor from the School of Social Work will give introductory remarks.

Please put this on your calendars, as it should be an excellent event!
If you have any questions, please contact me at jwieds@umich.edu or Claudette Grinnell-Davis at clynngd@umich.edu.

Thank You!
Jess Wiederspan
